SINGAPORE, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's household net worth increased 8.0 percent year-on-year in the second quarter, slightly slower than the pace recorded in the previous quarter, the Singapore Department of Statistics reported Tuesday.
Household asset growth remained steady at 7.8 percent compared with the first quarter, largely supported by faster expansion in financial assets, the department noted.
Meanwhile, liabilities rose for the seventh consecutive quarter, climbing 6.1 percent in the second quarter, driven mainly by faster growth in mortgage and personal loans.
