Singapore reports 1,782 new COVID-19 cases

SINGAPORE, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Singapore recorded 1,782 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total tally to 255,431, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said in a press release.

Of the new cases, 1,754 were reported in the community and 21 in migrant worker dormitories while seven were imported cases.

A total of 1,389 cases are currently hospitalized.

An additional five deaths from COVID-19 were reported in the Southeast Asian country, bringing the overall death toll to 672.
