Invictus Gaming parted ways with former Dota 2 captain Hu "kaka" Liangzhi and signed Pan "Fade" Yi.

The China-based team made the announcement Sunday on social media.

"Today we say goodbye to our iG.Dota2 captain kaka," iG posted on Twitter. "THANK YOU for your services and leading the team to a wonderful journey in the last two years! We wish you best of luck in the next chapters!"

Invictus Gaming are coming off a fourth-place finish and $2.4 million payday at The International 10 last month. Other highlights of kaka's tenure included a victory at the ONE Esports Singapore Major in April.

The 29-year-old kaka had been with the team since 2019. The 25-year-old Fade, also from China, was previously with EHOME.

Fade joins a roster that includes Jin "flyfly" Zhiyi and Zhou "Emo" Yi of China and Thiay "JT-" Jun Wen and Chan "Oli" Chon Kien of Malaysia.
