Singapore reports 408 COVID-19 cases

SINGAPORE, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 408 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 35,292.

Of the new cases, there are no cases in the community and all are linked to known clusters.

Overall, the number of new cases in the community has decreased, from an average of 7 cases per day in the week before, to an average of 3 per day in the past week.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has remained stable at an average of 2 per day in the past two weeks.

The ministry also said that 767 more people have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 22,466 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.
